Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes Review :)

hey everyone :)

So I wasn't sure what I wanted to post a blog about, but I was on my iPad watching some miscellaneous videos (Beauty, Comedy, Music, etc.) on Youtube, and I felt this sudden inspiration to write a new post for my blog. I did some brainstorming, and I finally came up with an idea for a blog post. As you can probably tell by the title, this post is all about my favorite eyeshadow palettes at the moment. These are the palettes that at the moment I consider them to be my "go-to" palettes. What I mean is that these are the palettes that I'm currently using for my makeup, because I love the way the colors look on me. So without any further ado, let's get on with the tutorial.

(Just as an added FYI, I purchased all of these products with my own money, I'm not being compensated for my opinions on each product, and all opinions are my own)

The first eyeshadow palette I'm using at the moment is the Photo-Op Eye Enhancing Palette by Smashbox Cosmetics, which I purchased at Sephora. What I really love is that each palette in this collection is for a different eye color. The colors in each palette are the right colors that will make your eyes pop. I have hazel eyes, so I bought this palette, but in the future I want to buy the other palettes and see if those eye shadows would look good on me. I've played around a lot with this palette, experimenting with different color combinations and seeing which ones I like the best. however, personally, I really like how the olive green color looks on my eyelids on its own. However, I think that color would go well in the crease, with the gold color in the middle on the lid and the cream colored shadow as a highlight on the brow bone. I can think of a bunch of different combinations for eyeshadows and I cannot wait to try them. (I may have to make a video using this palette on its own, let me know in the comments if that's a good idea)

This second palette is from Avon. It's the True Color eyeshadow quad, and it's in the shade Mocha Latte. This is one palette that I have yet to use on its own. Since I got this palette, I've been using the lightest color in the palette as a highlight and the second color and the darkest color in the palette in my crease. I experimented with the second color and darkest color by using them together. I start by putting the second color in the crease and then the darkest color on top of it. I think this method deepens the color in the crease, and it makes it look a lot better. I've been combining this crease method with a lot of my natural eye looks, and it's been working pretty well.

The last palette, and probably my most favorite of these three palettes is Kat Von D's True Romance eyeshadow palette, and its in the shade Sinner. This is another palette I found at Sephora. I love the colors in this eyeshadow palette and I love that it comes with a pencil liner. If you buy this palette, I definitely recommend using the pencil liner that it comes with. It stays on all day and it doesn't smudge at all. I recently used this palette and I used the pink color (first from the left) on my lids, and the purple color (second from the left) in my crease. I really liked the way this shadow combination looked on me and I'm definitely gonna wear it that way again.

Stay Strong, Stay Beautiful, & Stay Tuned for my next post :)

Much Love, Maria<3
