Favorite Eyeshadow Palettes Review :)

hey everyone :)

So I wasn't sure what I wanted to post a blog about, but I was on my iPad watching some miscellaneous videos (Beauty, Comedy, Music, etc.) on Youtube, and I felt this sudden inspiration to write a new post for my blog. I did some brainstorming, and I finally came up with an idea for a blog post. As you can probably tell by the title, this post is all about my favorite eyeshadow palettes at the moment. These are the palettes that at the moment I consider them to be my "go-to" palettes. What I mean is that these are the palettes that I'm currently using for my makeup, because I love the way the colors look on me. So without any further ado, let's get on with the tutorial.

(Just as an added FYI, I purchased all of these products with my own money, I'm not being compensated for my opinions on each product, and all opinions are my own)

The first eyeshadow palette I'm using at the moment is the Photo-Op Eye Enhancing Palette by Smashbox Cosmetics, which I purchased at Sephora. What I really love is that each palette in this collection is for a different eye color. The colors in each palette are the right colors that will make your eyes pop. I have hazel eyes, so I bought this palette, but in the future I want to buy the other palettes and see if those eye shadows would look good on me. I've played around a lot with this palette, experimenting with different color combinations and seeing which ones I like the best. however, personally, I really like how the olive green color looks on my eyelids on its own. However, I think that color would go well in the crease, with the gold color in the middle on the lid and the cream colored shadow as a highlight on the brow bone. I can think of a bunch of different combinations for eyeshadows and I cannot wait to try them. (I may have to make a video using this palette on its own, let me know in the comments if that's a good idea)

This second palette is from Avon. It's the True Color eyeshadow quad, and it's in the shade Mocha Latte. This is one palette that I have yet to use on its own. Since I got this palette, I've been using the lightest color in the palette as a highlight and the second color and the darkest color in the palette in my crease. I experimented with the second color and darkest color by using them together. I start by putting the second color in the crease and then the darkest color on top of it. I think this method deepens the color in the crease, and it makes it look a lot better. I've been combining this crease method with a lot of my natural eye looks, and it's been working pretty well.

The last palette, and probably my most favorite of these three palettes is Kat Von D's True Romance eyeshadow palette, and its in the shade Sinner. This is another palette I found at Sephora. I love the colors in this eyeshadow palette and I love that it comes with a pencil liner. If you buy this palette, I definitely recommend using the pencil liner that it comes with. It stays on all day and it doesn't smudge at all. I recently used this palette and I used the pink color (first from the left) on my lids, and the purple color (second from the left) in my crease. I really liked the way this shadow combination looked on me and I'm definitely gonna wear it that way again.

Forever 21 Haul!!!!!!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

hey everyone :)

now that I posted a blog earlier about the changes I made to this site and to my YouTube activity, I can now start doing what I really want to do with my blog! I recently went into Forever 21 with my friend Ashley and I picked up some pieces that I'm absolutely in love with. and since this blog is in conjunction with my Beauty/Fashion Channel, I thought why not post a blog entry about what I got from Forever 21!!!!

the first top I bought is a gray sleeveless graphic tee. it has the logo for the Rolling Stones. I saw this shirt and I immediately fell in love with it. I tried it on and it fit perfectly. I'm so excited to wear it this summer. It's going to go perfectly with some dark wash jeans and flip flops (if I'm wearing it at night) or with Bermuda shorts (if I'm wearing it during the day)

the second top I bought is a black sleeveless shirt, with silver studs on each shoulder. the shirt also has bows that are the color of the British Flag, and the phrase "God Save the Queen" is printed on it. I was so excited to buy this shirt. I love the different elements of this top: the studding, the design on the shirt, etc. I was shopping at Forever 21 last summer and I found a shirt exactly like this one, except it didnt have studding on the shoulders. unfortunately, I couldn't find the shirt in my size back then, so I was really happy when I found this on my most recent shopping trip.

the last top I bought is this white sleeveless shirt. I know that it's a lot of sleeveless tops, but it's summer time and these shirts are perfect for this kind of weather. not only that, but I really love wearing this kind of shirt, it gives my style more of an edge. I love the design on this shirt. it's unlike anything I've ever bought from Forever 21. I think it adds a little flair to my wardrobe :)

Stay Strong, Stay Beautiful, & Stay Tuned for my next post :)

another blog post, another change :)

hey everyone!!!!

so I know it's been a long time since my last post, but I've been really busy with school and working and other activities that I've been involved in. so this blog post is to say that I'm changing the nature of this blog once again! yes I know I said that before and that this was going to be about fashion and music, but I've decided to revamp it and do something different.

so now I would like to reintroduce you to
my blog. this blog is going to about my life in general, but with one little twist. in conjunction with my upcoming YouTube Channel, this will also feature blog posts about beauty. I'm in the process of starting a new YouTube channel that is strictly about makeup and fashion. So whatever videos I post on YouTube, (makeup tutorials, OOTD's, Shopping Hauls) there will be a blog posted about it here. I started on YouTube as a teen fan fiction writer. I was a fan fiction writer for about 2 years. But I've grown out of that and even though I'm not writing anymore, I will leave that channel as it is, because I know there are teens out there on who enjoy reading my work.

so with a new YouTube Channel, a new blog is born. the name of this blog will be changed soon, as soon as I can think of a creative name :) but I will be posting a new entry very soon so look out for that!
