First Video!!!!! Simple Everyday Makeup

Hey Everyone!!!

So I know I've been MIA for a little while, but I've been busy with work and getting ready to go back to school. However, I'm here to announce that my Youtube Channel is finally up and running!!!! As you can read by the title, this blog post is to showcase my first video. It's just a simple everyday look, well it's a look that I would wear everyday (LOL). It started out as a "Getting Ready with Me" video, but it became a "Simple Everyday Makeup" video because it's very late where I live and I didn't want to pick out an outfit and hairstyle that I was just going wear for like thirty seconds and then take off. Anyways, today's look is a soft eye with a bold lip. The video is down below, as well as a list of the products I used. Hope you enjoy!

another manic monday

good morning, or good evening depending on what you consider being awake at 3:02 am, iknow it's late, but ijust felt like posting a new blog, even though ijust posted a new blog 5days ago about my passion, which if you haven't read, is dancing, but that's not what my blog is about today...i'm just sort of, going over my weekend, and just pointing out some of the highlights of what idid, and some things i'm really excited and happy about.

so, friday was basically wasted, because ihad injured my back on thursday after rearranging some DVDs...iknow it sounds kinda silly that iwould injure myself by doing that, but it happens...as of now, i'm still feeling discomfort, but it's not as painful as it was when iwoke up and tried to get out of bed on friday morning...but ispent my friday entirely on the couch....icame downstairs and took some pills, lied down (if that's proper grammar), and watched two of my favorite films...The first was a French film that irecorded on my DVR...it's a film from 1959 called "Les Quatre Cents Coups", or translated "The 400 Blows"...it's a great film, and iwas really excited to watch it again for the first time since isaw it in my middle school french class...the second, which iwill always adore, is Breakfast at Tiffanys...yes, iknow there is a song with that title, but the movie was made WAYYYYY before the song was though of, so I WIN!!!! :)

saturday was alot like friday, in that iwas still in a huge amount of pain, and that ididnt do much...but sunday was great!!! my cousin jamie came to my house from New York with her friend from college, Jackie and my grandma, and of course my grandmother was accompanied by her dog...needless to say, my dog weezy, and her dog santi did not get along...my dog kept growling at her whenever she got too close, which is only because santi, is a strange dog to weezy, and she's never been around santi, but my dad thinks she was just protecting her own..lmfao

anyways, so ialso ended up getting CDs, iknow that is irrelevant, but ijust thought iwould mention it...my cousin Jamie and irocked out to the runaways and gossip, it was a pretty fun time, and we caught up on some of our "thug-life" lessons :) but the reason i'm excited, is because my cousin lent me Cherie Currie's memoir. "Neon Angel: A Memoir of a Runaway". i'm really excited to read this, because irecently just saw The Runaways movie, which imentioned in a past blog, but i'm soooo excited!!!!! anyways, once iread that, i'm definitely going to post a blog sharing my thoughts on the book :)

i'm also kinda bummer though...it's monday, and that's my day of the week that ifeel drags on forever....and today ihave to do the following:

1. go to the dentist b/c ihad one appointment, but it was rescheduled...i'm definitely going to get yelled at because idon't wear my retainers :( kill me now

2. go see a doctor about my back...this might not even happen, it all depends on how my back is feeling when iwake up :/

3. go train my mini me for a tournament...i'm a second degree black belt, and i'm helping afriend's daughter train for a tournament in october...hopefully i'll be able to hdemonstrate something if i'm in good shape


well, that's my blog for today....ithink might do this every monday, but i'm not quite sure yet ;)

ihope everyone had an amazing weekend..mine was good, even though ididnt do alot, istill had a good weekend..if you live on the east coast by NYC and Philly and Boston like ido, then it's just as late, but for all my west coast readers, its a couple hours earlier, but it's still late..anyways ijust decided to make a little entry before igo to bed, b/c i'm wearing my retainer, and itook nyquil (no clue why, thought it would help with the pain) and aspirin, it still hurts a little, ithink my retainer might not fit, which i'm really fcuking myself over, b/c its my second retainer that i've had made, and i'm gonna have to pay for it if ihave to get a new one, and my mom is gonna be pissed...but hopefully that's not the case...b/c ithink it's a pretty penny to get a new one


anyways, so imade 2 new videos today for my youtube account (oohlalamariaa)..for those of you who don't know, my youtube account first began in may of 2008 with the debut of the Alie & Reea show, and it has since branched out into doing makeup tutorials, tag games, vlogging, and in the very near future, a parody of Laguna Beach!!!!! ifelt so productive today because of the videos iposted...ioriginally made 3 videos, but the first video, which was a 25 random question tag, was removed from youtube, b/c it was too long..my second video was a would you rather tag game, which iwas dilligent about, if you wanna put it that way, b/c ididnt want it to be too long..my third video, which iam most proud of, is my first ever...drum roll please!.....MAKEUP TUTORIAL...AHH!!! i'm so happy that ifinally was able to do one, my digital camera was cooperative with me, so iwas able to make the video and post it...the look that idecided to do is a look for going out to a club or a party or a nighttime outing or something like that..i've used it a few times in the past few weeks and people like it on me, so idecided to do a tutorial for it...iwill do more tutorials soon, and more tag games are gonna be coming up..

a friggin night owl, not so much a pro yet, but a night owl no less...

so in the words of blair from youtube (juicystar07), im officially a night owl...like iwouldnt consider myself a first time night owl, but i'm not a pro...b/c honestly i've been up this late before, but it's only happened a few times, sporadically of course ;)

so i'm wide awake, and ihave no friggin clue why. like itried sleeping the normal way ido, but it didnt work, ijust kept sneezing. and my dog is in my bed with me, and shes getting scared by it, cuz its sudden...but then itried turning on music, but that didnt work either..and then itried flipping over and sleeping upside down, but that didnt work...so istarted doing different things...ikeep a physical (like tangible) journal aside from this blog, so iwrote an entry in there...and then iwrote a little bit more in this book that has a story that i've been writing since iwas a freshman...and now i'm writing this

legit, idk why i'm awake...so far this summer, i've never been up past 3....ok legit ijust had to pretend to be asleep b/c my mom came upstairs...but shes not anywhere near my room ithink, so ican keep typing..iliterally was about to write "tryping"...wow imisspell so many words...

i'm gonna sleep so late now, its pathetic...like last night iwent to sleep close to 4, and islept for nearly TWELVE HOURS!!!! like wtf, thats not really good for me, especially since my mom got super pissed at me when itold her what time iwoke up..but whatever...IRREGARDLESS!!!

anyways, i'm gonna try and get some sleep, because ineed sleep, and i'm tired, but ijust can't seem to fall asleep...so i'll write back soon!!!
